Decatur Students Have More Talent

As hard as our students work acting, singing and dancing their way into your hearts. They don’t don’t just do it for them, but also for school pride in competitions and community pride. Mostly, they do it for the love of the arts!

The Advanced Musical Theatre class presents a musical each fall, which we submit for the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards, known as ‘The Shuler Awards.

With almost 200 students, our choral program fills the DHS campus with song! Unlike other high schools, our program focuses on diversity in repertoire study and programming
