A Journey Into Wonder(land), Love, and Letting Go

Alice by Heart is a poignant and imaginative musical inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Set in a World War II–era London underground shelter during the Blitz, the story follows Alice Spencer, a teenage girl who clings to Lewis Carroll’s beloved tale as a way to cope with fear, loss, and the uncertainty of growing up.

As bombs fall over London, Alice leads her fellow shelter-mates into the world of Wonderland, where familiar characters take on new meaning and fantasy becomes a refuge and a reckoning. Through soaring music and lyrical storytelling, Alice by Heart explores how stories help us survive heartbreak, face change, and find the courage to let go.
